On the 2007 Buick Lacrosse, Chevrolet Impala, and Pontiac Grand Prix, GMC is recalling the latest models because the fuel tanks on the models are missing the adhesive layer that bonds the barrier layer to the outer shell of the fuel tank. With this condition, fuel and/or fuel vapors could seep out between the layers, increasing the risk of fire.
